Jeff grew up in the Oklahoma Panhandle. He attended college at Oklahoma Panhandle State, majoring in Social Science and History Education. After graduating, he served with the Peace Corps in southwestern China. Upon returning to the U.S., Jeff enrolled in the Masters of Divinity program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) and worked as a pastoral intern at Lenexa Baptist Church.

Tiffany grew up in Arizona and moved to Kansas to attend the University of Kansas and major in athletic training. After college, she served with AmeriCorps in eastern Kentucky and returned to Kansas City where she pursued an MPA in Non-Profit Administration from the University of Missouri Kansas City. She worked as an executive assistant to a pastor at a church in KCMO and as an advocate for victims of domestic abuse.

Tiffany and Jeff decided to further their education and spiritual growth at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. It was there that they met and soon after were married. When they completed their degrees in 2017, they moved back to Kansas City so Jeff could pursue a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies (MBTS). Tiffany began working in the women’s center at Shelter KC. Feeling the need to choose a denomination, Tiffany and Jeff decided to affiliate with the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). They began attending Harvest Ridge, where Tiffany soon became the Children’s Ministry Pastor. A year later, the church entered a transition season, and Tiffany and Jeff were asked to step in as interim co-lead pastors. In 2020 the couple was called and confirmed to continue pastoring the church. Tiffany was ordained by the ECC in 2022. 

Sara Thrasher, Ministry Director 

Sara handles administration, communication,
and ministry coordination. She can answer your questions or connect you with someone who can. She and her husband Darren have two little girls. She cherishes the family atmosphere and the service spirit of Harvest Ridge.

Veronica Lassley, Youth Director

Veronica has a degree in Biblical Leadership from Manhattan Christian College, with a focus on Youth and Family Ministry. She helps students find and follow their faith. She supports students (grades 6-12) and their families. Veronica and her husband Aaron have two sons.

Chris Coleman, Worship Director 

Chris loves music as a way to pray and praise. He sang with his dad in the church choir since childhood. He thinks music worship should include many styles and generations. He appreciates all kinds of music that reveal God’s character and our place in His story.

Nancy Wagner 

Nancy is a child of God who longs to be like Him. Prayer and thanksgiving help her discover and develop a deeper relationship with Him. Her ministry is to come alongside others to encourage and give hope.
