Philippians 1:3-11
Introduction

and primary object of the work was, (and still is) that God might be magnified...”
Philippians 1:3-11
Paul’s emotion in prayer – “joy” (v. 4)
Reason: “their partnership in the Gospel” (v. 5)
The content of Paul’s prayers – “their love may abound in knowledge” (v. 9)
Reason: “... to the glory and praise of God” (vv. 10-11)
Application:
1). Pray for God’s kingdom and purposes
2). Pray for temporal things with an eternal mindset
3). Pray with your relationship to God being the most important thing you seek and your greatest joy
