Holiness is essential for ...
1. knowing God
1 John 2:3-6, We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

2. our joy and happiness
John 15:10-11, If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Membership Covenant: “HOLINESS - I commit to pursue holiness and purity in all aspects of my life. I will strive to conform my life as best as I can to look like Christ, providing a model and witness to his teachings and commands. I will strive to eliminate all forms of sin, both public and private, and if I stumble in my sin, I will pursue confession, repentance, and restoration.”
