Luke 5:27-39

Five Characteristics of Those Who Follow Christ:

   (1) They leave everything.

          Matthew now saw his resources as something to be used for others

   (2) They use their home and resources for Christian hospitality.

   (3) They recognize they are a sinner.

   (4) They repent.

   (5) They believe and accept Christ's new covenant.

Applications:

1. If anyone has not believed in Jesus, the invitation is still open

2. When we practice hospitality we help spread the gospel
