Faithfulness in Babylon VIII || Daniel 8:1-27

Introduction: Living in darkness.
Daniel 8: World History: Alexander & Antiochus
Daniel 8: God and His People:
#1) – Neither history nor the future is outside of God’s sovereign power.
#2) – God’s people are not exempt from the darkness and devastation of this
world.
#3) – In the midst of this world’s darkness, Christians continue to serve God
and to live as blessings.
#4) – God is not far removed from our suffering but joins us in our anguish.
Isaiah 2:4
4...They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.
