God’s sovereignty should:
1. produce prayer in us
2. lead us to have humility
3. reorient our lives to our true kingdom
Isaiah 55:11,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Psalm 115:3,
Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.
Luke 20:17-18, Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of
that which is written:
“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone’?
18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls
will be crushed.”
